C40PLRS owners manual and oil ratio

Hi,

I just picked up a 1994? C40PLRS and have a few questions. I am looking for an owners manual and the oil mixture ratio. Does anyone have any guidance?

It is a funky motor wiithout oil injection, external shift and throttle connections as opposed to inside the cowl. What does the "C" stand for? It is electric start, has a remote pull coil, power trim.

You can go to Yamaha's web site www.yamaha-motor.com and order the manuals. Go to Outboards then open Parts And Service tab, you can view manuals for newer models but older models you would have to order online.
The oil Ratio is 100:1 for that motor.
The "C" was for Commercial they are non oil injection with less features as the oil injected models.

Yes, I noticed the online manuals only go back to 1998. Thanks for the info.
