150 yamaha motor shakes

1997, 150 yamaha salt water series, problem just started. Motor runs great until I go into the wake of another boat. Motor begins to shake with a high pitch sound. oil indicators on dash start to flash. I back off throttle to slow boat, and motor runs fine again in calm water until next set of waves.
Moter is trimmed down or slightly up. Any thoughts???????

have you checked the rubber motor mounts every where ? sound like one or more could be broken maybe !! dont know about the oil light but !

sounds like reduction mode, what gauges do you have?

Check inline fuses on engine fit snuggly into fuse holder. Check for loose battery cables or loose ground wires.
