  • 200 V6 2 stroke fuel problems

Was out today for an hour, then engine only ran at 2100 rpm. Found bulb sucked shut. I think its a clogged water separator? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Sounds like it. The only way to tell for sure, i think, is to disconnect the fuel line before the pumps and pump the bulb.

You can get a 6 gallon portable gas tank and hose, connect it to water separator filter. If runs good the fuel restriction is in fuel lines or fuel tank. If still doesn't run move portable gas line to engine fuel filter and retry.

Thanks for the help. Could it possibly be a vent problem? waited 10 mins. and then started up and ran fine, but dont know how long it would have lasted.

Had a similar problem when I first bought my current boat. Intermittently the engine would lose power, stall, etc. Installed an automotive type inline, glass case fuel filter and saw sediment in the flow. Also, found the sediment was getting all the way through the fuel filter and strainer to clog carb jets, etc. Heads-up.
