yamaha fuel management system (again)

Have dual 1999 ox 66 - 250's and a yamaha fuel management system. Port motor runs through management system fine, starboard was completely lost. Purchased a new sending unit here on boats.net (which is not a cheap part anywhere), replaced it and it registered on the meter. One huge problem, it seems to be running at about 1/2 the consumption rate. At idle it is reading zero, but as you add rpm's it comes up, but still to 1/2 the consumption rate.

Is there anyway to calibrate the system?

Do I have to change the pin settings in the back of the gauge?

Make sure that there are no air bubbles in the sending unit as well. If you are getting no flow show on the gauge at an idle and low flow at a much higher rpm, I would look there.
