i got a 2003 f225 that doesent get ran much, today when i started it. i get an alarm after about 10 seconds of running. and there is a couple lights flashing on the tach. there is plenty of oil and it was just changed last week where should i start looking. also the motor seems to be chugging when it is idleing. could it be a fuel restriction issue?.

awesome, i actually dont know the boat hasnt been off the lift in 4 moinths the last time i ran it it ran great. as a side note, i had to replace the speedo, tach and chartplotter, yesterday i think the boat may have gotten hit by lightning. could this be the culprit? -

Update:
The Boat Was Definitely Struck. Upon Putting It On The Trailer We Discovered A 3/4" Hole Which Was Feathered Out And Burnt. This Is Where The Lightning Exited The Boat. It Enteredv Through A Spot Light On The T-top. Insurance Is Paying Me To Re-wire The Entire Boat As Well As The Engine And A Command Link Setup If Compatable Withg This Engine. All New Electronics Stereo And All Yay!!!!! As Far As The Engine Goes, Even Though The Alarm Is Sounding It Goes To 3600 Rps Seems To Be Missing A Cylinder?Comment
