where is my air filter?

Don't know a whole lot about outboards. I just wanted to check up on the air filter but it's not really visible. My motor is a 2002 25hp 2 stroke tiller. If you can let me know what area to look I would appreciate it.

I've never seen an outboard with an air filter.

It's normal not to have one.
