breaking down

on a 2005 60 hp 2 stroke,starts ok,runs ok up to 5000 rpm after that it breaks up (missing) any one have a fix?

Maybe not enough getting fuel. Seems like that is most folks problems due to water and by-products of todays gas.

Suggest run seperate tank...direct line, clean on engine filter

That would be the easiest

If not better, then electrical

Had that same problem with a 200 Yamaha carberated. My problem was a bad fuel pump
