Please help!!!

I have a f 25 and motor papers is from 2002. but the id label whit the serial number on outboard is lost where can i find other serial number on a motor,can it be thati is only one and it is on the id label on the clamp bracket?

The serial number is only on the clamp bracket, some models had a welch plug on engine block with serial number but I don't think the F25 has it.
