Digital Speed Gauge Problems

HI,

Need some help. I have a 2000 F115 4 Stroke Yammi. The Digital speed gauge does not work properly. I pulled the tubing from the back of the gauge. Blew compressed air in to it. When I went and tested it. My gps speed shows 20 mph and the digital speed gauge is showing about 10 mph. Sometimes does not even work. As I recheck the tubing from the back of the speed gauge I notice the nipple ( back of speed gauge ) that mounts to the tubing is wiggleling a bit. You think it might be the gauge or the small open hole in the lower unit ? Need help please ........

Sounds like blockage in tubing or hole in gearcase, look for kinked hose or leaks in hose. Use your compressed air to check and clean hole in gearcase.
