Lost the key for my 40hp (with pull start)

I've lost my key, is there anyway to short the ignition from the remote (where the ignition barrel is located) at the engine so I can pull start the motor (with a piece of wire around the immobilizer) I've ordered a new key, but it's gonna take a while?

If it's a 2 stroke 40hp you can disconnect the white wire fron ignition switch, but engine WILL NOT shut off when running.

Will Yamaha parts.com send a spare key if I give them the key number??

Yes they can just give them the 3 digit number.
