Reco power pack

Have just had to replace the power pack on my 1988 115 yamaha 2 stroke was told they are usually pretty good and never need replacing ! does anyone do reco units ?
I would like to get the old one reco'ed and keep it as a spare .

No not that I know of, some aftermarket company's sell them.

I managed to pick up a second hand power pac and it is a completely differant motor now . Starts easy , never misses a beat . idles smooth like it never has before ever . . It must have been faulty since i got the motor !!
CANT BELIEVE THE DIFFERANCE!!!
