Adding Hyd. Fluid to tilt/trim on 200 HP

Ok, I had a couple issues with my tilt/trim and I am now low on fluid. This is on a 1986 200HP Yamaha. What type fluid doo i need and where do i add it? Looking from the back it looks like there is a plug on the right hand side to remove and add, is this correct?

you are correct, like a 17mm bolt, fill till it drips back out.

Ok, i can fill it no problem, but how do i bleed it? I have no manuel for this engine. Also, I need to lift the engine with an overhead hoist to get at the filler bolt, can I just use the flip lever to "hold" it up and do all the work?
