1994 150 hp Yamaha digital tach to dial type

Need assistance for a 1994 150 hp Yamaha Salt water series outboard:
Can anyone tell me what kind of tach I need to replace the original multifunction digital tach. I don't need the additional things on the old meter like tilt position, oil (since it's disconnected)
I know the motor is 2 cycle, but I'm not familiar with "poles", etc. Can anyone suggest a tach? Ebay has a lot of them, but I'm not always sure which one will work or not.

Any 12 pole alternator driven tach will work, The Yamaha tach without warning indicators is part number 6Y5-83540-14-00.
