Run 1988 200 on stand

To do this without a switch panel I know the brown wire will crank it but what about ignition power? Will I have to use choke to kill it?

Yes it will not shut off unless you have a switch hooked up to it.

Will it start and run cranking with brown wire or do I need to power yellow wire for spark?

The carb models will run by jumping starter solenoid only.
