The warning buzzer starts screaming when I turn the ignition key to the "on" position - not start, just "on". Is there some way to reset the alarm? The oil reservior is full and pumping. Very confusing. Any ideas appreciated.

Sounds like something is hooked up wrong, if it doesn't have Yamaha gauges with warning lights in gauge then make sure someone hasn't connected the male off white colored square connector on engine to off white female connector. They are gauges and should only be connected to wire harness to gauges. -

Thanks for your comment - that's exactly what was wrong. I bought the rig used and the previous owner had disconnected the coupler - I reconnected it and now know why it had been disconnected; the dealer had apparently set it up incorrectly. Thanks again.Comment
