age of my yamaha

The plate is missing and i have no idea how to identify the engines age. Its 60 hp, 2 cstroke, 2 cylinder. CAn any 1 help please

Without the model number there is no way to tell the year.

It would be a tedious process, but you could go to parts.yamaha-motor.com and look at the different parts diagrams for different year models. Look at things like motor cover, starter, carbs, wire harness routing, and fuel filter. This would probably get you to within a couple years of the true age of your motor.
