Hi everybody,
Ok, I have a 1989 30LF (3 cyl) Yamaha outboard rebuild. I am doing the finishing touches but because I am not familiar with the motor, I'm not sure how all the wiring goes. Note: Only manual pull cord starter, I do not have a starting motor hooked up to it. I've connected the powerpack to each of the coils, and connected the main wire plug and 2 other wires that feed into the power pack, but now I'm lost. If anyone has a diagram or photo that would show me how all the color-coated wires and grounds hook up properly that would be great.
Also, are the coils numbered 1,2,3 from top to bottom or bottom to top? Thanks!
