Need Help

blew out my 1995 evinrude so i decided to go get me a nice 1997 90hp yamaha. Now ive gotten the dead evnrude off and looks like the only cable that is need is the 10pin cable for the yamaha.
Can any1 tell me what else i would need and wat part number is that cable. Also would it plug in right into my control box?

http://www.yamaha-motor.com/ for your part numbers..look in parts /service. if you are using a 704 control box yes it will work. do you have the other harnesses,oil,tach,key switch?

Ok figured out what i will need

704 control box

morse cables?

10pin harness.

hydro steering cable? should be able to user the one on there.

Anything else i need? and where can i order this part?

if the motor is the only thing you have, you will need the main harness,1 oil,1 trim,1 tach,oil tank,key switch,throttle cables,704 or 703 throttle and whatever steering system you want.

Hey guys, Found a local guy that has all the stuff i need. Sold it to me for 100 bucks.
I will keep yall posted on how it goes after i get the parts put on. Thanks alot
