removing stuck bearing carrier

I have a 1987 225 excell yamaha. I lost forward gear. I am trying to remove the bearing carrier but it will not come out. I have heated the casing at the forward portion of the lower unit, soaked it in krol oil reheated etc. it still wont budge. any suggestions.

You will have to put heat on rear of carrier as well to get to break free.

thanks for the tip. Im about to give up on it. Spent 4 hrs on it today. darn thing wont budge. never seen one like this.
