  • Replacement of fuel pump diaphram

Have a 1995 200hp Yamaha OB TXRT- When the engine is cold it starts easily. Recently when hot it is very difficult to start. Thinking it is the fuel pump diaphram. Is there a visual diagram of these fuel pumps and what is the procedure for replacing the diaphrams? Fuel filter and plugs have been changed within the last few weeks.
    Thanks

    Look here

Look your model up here. There will be a parts diagram that will show all the components and you should be able to figure it out from that. Good luck...

you might want to consider just replacing the entire pump, after you add up the cost of gaskets and diaphragms, the cost of a new pump is only a couple of dollars more, about $35 a piece, I think you have two on your motor, my 250hp has three
