Yamaha remote friction level

Hi,
I have a Yamaha Remote Control, PART NUMBER 6X0-48206-12-00. It is he one that mounts inside the console with thelever outside. It has the trim switch on the side of the lever.

Can anyone tell me how to increase slightly the friction level. My remote creeps and this is very annoying!

just use a screwdriver or the edge of a coin to turn the friction adjusting screw...clockwise tightens, counterclockwise loosens...should be just tight enough so the throttle doesn't creep back down on you, but not too tight. good luck!
