1990-200HP EXTD will not trim up from throttle quadrant

Starboard engine will not trim up from the throttle quadrant but works fine with the up/down switch on the engine. Connected starboard engine throttle trim switch to port engine and port engine trimed up ok.

Up and down relays on engine seem to work OK. I'm not sure of the wiring logic but think that maybe the trim sender unit may be sending bad position information but don't know if that is tied into the trim system??

Any ideas?

Probably a broken wire or bad trim switch at control box.
