Greetings-
We have an intersting problem with our engine. When going from idle to 2/3 or full throttle, there is a delay of anywhere between 10-20 sec, to sometimes several minutes before suddenly the engine/boat takes off like a bat outa hell. This comes a a sudden, tremendous surge in power, and if you're not ready for it, you'll end up on the deck. There is no gradual buildup on power, its a sudden(unsafe) jolt. After increasing throttle, the engine only revs a little bit higher and holds the for the time stated above-and on occasion doesnt do it at all and just gives immediate responce in relation to throttle posistion, like it should. My father has been to a Yamaha dealer already, and got nowhere, they didnt/(couldnt?) fix it. I'm thinking maybe the TPS, any other suggestions to check? Thanks
