noob carb questions (cont)
On my 1991 Yamaha 70HP, I tore apart the 3 carbs and cleaned the jets and passage ways and checked my carb floats. I have 2 questions about carburetors:
1) My motor runs better at idle with choke open 1/2 way. The RPMs are slightly higher and runs smoother. If the choke is closed, it runs a little rougher for 5 minutes before it completely cuts out. Fuel Pump is still hard.
2) Unburned gas spits out the exhaust. No idea what it could be.
It was frustrating to spend 5 hours tearing apart carbs for no good results. Hoping to get some help here.
