noob trying to clean 3 carbs

i am going to try to attempt to clean out my 3 carbs on a 1991 yamaha 70HP Model 70TLRP. is there a way to tell which carburetor is the one running bad without having to rebuild all 3? My problem is gasoline is pouring out through the exhaust. I might have messed up the floats when i was in there last, Also, my shop manual says 1.5 pilot screw low setting. am i suppose to tighten it then back out 1.5 turns?


Thanks for any tips! I have carb spray and air compressor for cleaning it out

you can pull 1 plug wire at a time to try to find the improper one OR use your finger as a choke in each throat to try to isolate it down to one carb. dont chinch... do them all !
