As a tour operator we have several boats running tours daily, on a 26' flat bottom boat I have a 2004 F115, after 2 months of use, the first CDI was not working, we replaced it and the outboard worked fine for other 2 months then the same problem, we changed the CDI again and worked fine for 2 weeks.
Now it shows the same simptoms again, it starts but it seems not getting enough fuel to rise RPM.
We thought was a problem with ignition, but they are fine, and the fact is when we change CDI everything is working perfectly (unfortunately not for too long). I don't want to change a CDI every 2 weeks, and I really appreciated if some of you guys can give me a tip about the cause of the problems I have with CDI on this outboard.
