fuel leaking on port side

My 2003 225 is leaking fuel on the port side at the cowling latch. Also engine will not stay running with this loss in fuel pressure

Check to see where it is leaking, pump primer bulb and look for leaks.Check fuel lines, fuel filter, carbs.

The fuel seems to be coming from tubing on the port side of the engine that is fead into the latch for the cowling. Is this some sortof pressure relief function. What would cause the fule to exit here when the engine is runnig or pumping the bulb?

Float valve in vapor seperator tank may be sticking open. Remove and clean tank and check vapor recovery hoses are positioned properly.
