Compression on 96 Yam 200Hp Saltwater #S200TX

This engine has 125 lbs compression on each cylinder,except cyl #5 has 120.

I know the variation between cylinders should not be greater than 10%, but is 120 lb range considered to be good for this engine?

I just had my 95 Merc tested and it was 156 lb on all 4 cylinders.

Yes that is good. it's within 10%.
