what side con*****er to buy

I have a 2 stroke 40hp model says 40ELK not sure what year it is and i need to buy a new side con*****er, just need a cheap one

The 703 side mount(pull to open throttle) for that motor is not available anymore, would have to get push to open box and throttle arm to convert box. If you can use a binnacle control(704-48205-B1-00) box it's easier to connect to that motor.

704 Binnacle is a top mount control box.

A Flush mount control box will work with your motor if you have room for it, the control box mounts inside console with only handle on outside.
