I received a four blade prop for my f150. The motor side of the thrust washer is not the same as the stock one. Dealers insist it's ok to use, but I am concerned it may do harm. Are the dealers right?
If you are using a prop other than a Yamaha prop may have to change thrust washers. Make sure prop lip fits into gearcase properly and is not rubbing against gearcase and can still get cotter pin through prop nut when installed.
