250hp OX66

Having a slight problem with the engine bogging down at higher rpm's. I have a feeling it's a clogged fuel filter somewhere because sometimes it "clears" itself out and she runs fine. When it happens i'll be running at about 4500 rpms and it will drop to 4k...it sounds like its struggling a bit and then i back off the throttle and back on the throttle and it usually runs ok for a second. Any thoughts?

Remove and check for trash in vapor separator tank and replace fuel filters.
