How do I lock my Yamaha 9.9 ?

I just bought a 1999 Yamaha 9.9 EXLH Kicker for *****ing, it has a remote Control with 9ft. cables to control it. I am going to steer it with a Remote-***** unit, my question is how do I lock the motor so that it won't turn on it's own like with the Tiller handle? I don't see a Friction adjustment lever anywhere.

There is a friction screw on the side of steering shaft on transom bracket that you can tighten a little.

Hey Boats.net, I did find the friction bolt on the side of the shaft and tightened it some . That did the job , Thanks again for your help.
