Oil Overfill

I have an 175 AETO Autolube. (6G5) (H) 1987 i belive ??

it keeps overfilling the main tank on the motor, i have tjek til float and it works fine, have tryed to take off the wire to the float but it still pumps oil.

i canīt tjek the control unit have no specifications.

but the oil pump in the remote tank stops when i take off the wire between the oil control unit and the engine hartness.

is that a knowen problem on this model ?

control unit part number is 6E5-85740-02-00

It's usually either the oil level sensor in engine oil tank or the oil control module. I would replace the oil control module first, The new ones have been changed to solve the overfilling problem.
