My 2003 F90tlrb caught fire and burned regulator, C.D.I., wire harness, pulser wiring, etc. After replacing these parts and getting motor running by bumping up idle screw, the regulator seems to run hot after 10 minutes(around 140 degrees). What's the normal operating temperature of regulator?

They will get warm but I haven't taken a temp reading on them.

      Regulator question

I have dual 2005 F150s with dual batteries and 1,2,all,off switches.
Question can you damage the charging system by running with both switches in the both position. I know it's better to run with 1 switch set to each engine.

      Thank you,
      neil
