Analog Tachometer Question 2005 F150

I was concerned with high rpm's showing on my early 90's Analog Tach I would run above 6000 almost 7000 rpm's at WOT. I installed a new Analog Tachometer (6Y7-83540-80-00) for my 2005 F150 with 4p, 6p and 12p I have it on 12. It idled at around 700 on a hose. Just to be sure are there any dip switches before I get it on the water, or am I the dip switch?

12 Pole setting is the correct setting for your motor and that is all that you have to set on analog tach, you are ready for water test.
