grinds when putting in reverse

I noticed my yamaha grinds a little when I shift it in reverse. Someone told me that this is normal, is it true?
it's a 2002 2 stroke 25hp tiller 2cylinder.

Shift in and out of gear with a rapid motion, if move control lever slowly it will grind.

I think it still grinds even if I try shifting faster.

is it idling correctly ?
the higher the idle the more it will grind.
