Multifunction tach question

Great website...
My question is, I just re-installed my guages for my Yamaha outboard after reworking the dash. The speedometer works fine, the tach has no power or display. I checked all the connections in the wiring harness, and everything is reconnected right. Any idea what the problem may be?
