My main motor is the F 150 and I have an F 9.9 kicker. The fuel line from the tank runs to my Racor water separating filter that supplies the F 150. I would like to supply fuel to the kicker from the same (main) tank. Some say that it is fine to just run another fuel line with a primer bulb from the second outlet of the Racor filter to the kicker. It has also been said that when supplying a kicker in this manner, one should install an on/ off valve in each line to separate the fuel flow from each motor. Is one method preferred over the other or does it matter? Thanks in advance...
