The trim motor on my 2000 40hp yamaha went bad, had alot of rust/corrosion on the motor and only got a click when hitting the switch.
Got a new trim motor and swapped it out. Now when I hit the trim switch I can hear the trim motor running but the engine will not lift up. I tried adding some fluid to the side fill, didn't seem low though and it did not help.
Do I need to somehow bleed the hydraulics, or is there somthing else I need to check.
Thanks
