05-06 40hp 4 stroke prop to jet conversion??

I have a 40hp 4-stroke and I'd like to swap a jet for shallow river running. Is there anywhere I can find a nuts and bolts "how-to" on this conversion? Also, what can I expect to pay?

The motor would have to be raised on transom about 4 or 5 inches and you would have exchange shift cable to one about 2 foot longer.
