OUT RUNNING AROUND THIS WEEKEND. MY STARBOARD MOTOR WAS VERY HARD STARTING. A LOT OF CRANKING BEFORE SHE FIRED UP. NEXT DAY SAME THING BUT FOUND NO SPARK AT THE PLUGS AND WOULD NOT START. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

The ignition system would have to be tested with a peak reading volt meter. You would need a Yamaha service manual and a peak reading volt meter.

If you have no spark on any of the four plugs, then you might try swapping the CDI unit with the other motor - that's the nice thing about having a twin setup, you have a complete set of known good parts to help you troubleshoot.
