how do you change the water pump on the jet drive

Same as prop model, remove the jet drive and water pump sits on top of drive.

i know how to remove a bootom end for a prop drive but how do you remove the jet drive

Remove the intake housing, remove jet pump impeller then remove the four bolts to disconnect pump housing from adapter plate. The water pump sits on top of housing.

i have 89 60 hp 3 cly long shaft with prop i want to convert to a jet the drive for my yr IT is a p drive which was discontinued it is a large drive i waS TOLD BY SOMEONE THAT YOU CAN USE & E DRIVE WHICH IS A MEDIUM DRIVE & GET GOOD PREFORMANCE FROM IT CAN ANY ONE HELP
