200hp 03 saltwater oil issue

Unplugged harness by accident while refilling remote oil tank once used engine oil tank motor cut out on way home thought it was another issue so came in on one motor. Now when plugged in the remote tank overfills tank on motor and even with it unplugged motor blows heaps of smoke. Is getting over oiled by system????

Usually a bad sensor in engine oil tank.

It has been suggested to unplug the oil system and manually mix the oil in the petrol tank???

I would leave the oil injection system on it overall they work extremely well and if it's a fuel injection model you could have lot of trouble with O2 sensors if you use premix.
