I have an old 90 2stroke 89 model. It runs well, compression is fine 120 in all 3 cylinders, but its recently become moody.
Sometimes it starts perfectly and other times it kicks over with plenty of fuel but no spark what so ever. Once it is running, there is no problem, no missing or spluttering, it runs fine. It's when I stop it the worry starts, I don't know if it will start.
Last night I tried to kick it over for about half an hour and nothing. I gave it a rest and kicked it over half an hour later and it started easily.
I will check the emergency stop and the key start at the control box first, but if I have to head to the motor does anyone have any first points of call? I am thinking a solenoid that is sticking somewhere?
Thanks in advance
