Yamaha 10 micron filter on 2004 F200

Greetings,
I recently purchased a new (to me) boat which has a F200TRXC motor on it. I have seen on the web where due to ethenol, I should have a 10 micron filter inline. Purchased a Yamaha filter and base. After I enstalled it, I noticed a disclamer that it should not be used on a system with electric fuel pumps. Looks like this motor does. Do you think I will have a problem?

No you are ok, the filter works great on that engine.

I thought so but wanted to be sure. Seems strange.
