wireing gauges for VMAX 150

Someone tried to hot wire my 2000 model VMAX 150. I tried to put everything back to normal. Now when I turn on my running lights my gauges go out. I am sure its just a wire hooked up wrong. Can anyone help. When the running lights are off the gauges work just fine. Everything else seems to be just as new.

everything is color coded, for the lights use the separate blues to the light circuit and be sure all blacks are grounded.

Thank you I will check that. Blue to the light positive and all blacks to the neg.
