Yamaha connector pins

Anyone know if or how the pins can be removed from the Yamaha connectors? I have a cable to run and I would like to take the connector off but leave the pins on the cable to pull it.

I popped the yellow pin guard off the face of the connector and it look like all I need to do is push a tab back and the pin can be backed out.

Yes by pushing in on lock tab it will come out.
