Could you send me the document again? My copy went away with the latest laptop crash. NOW I use a backup disk.

and this is why thread hopping is nuts.
most the motors disscused use DIFFERENT things.
I dont think the 04 F150 was command link compatible.
some of the 05 motors were supposed to be but it doesnt work.
all the F 4 stroke EFI motors 06 and up are.
however not all are compatible with command link "plus" or YCOP.
its all in the various years rigging guides.
confusing as a thread hopped post but it is there.

        Yet another Command Link Question

I have a 07 HPDI 200 (Z200TXR) on a 25' Imperial Cuddy Cabin. All gauges are aftermarket; and of them, only the Tac and battery level work. I am wanting to rip it out and install the Command Link Multi Gauge Kit:
        6Y8-WE83S-10-00

        Here are the contents:
        (1) #6Y8-8350T-01 Square Tachometer Assembly
        (1) #6Y8-83500-01 Square Meter Assembly
        (1) #60V-8A4L1-01-00 Sensor Speed Kit
        (1) #6Y8-82521-51-00 12 Ft pigtail w/wire lead
        (1) #6Y8-83553-01-00 8 ft Wire Lead
        (2) #6Y8-81920-01-00 Multi Hub Assembly
        (1) #6Y8-82582-01-00 Cap
        (3) #6Y8-82582-11-00 Cap
        (1) #6Y8-8356N-01-00 Wire Lead
        (1) #6Y8-2819U-X0-00 Quick Reference Card
        (1) #6Y8-2819U-00-00 Users Guide
        (1) Users DVD

Is there anything else that I would need to purchase in order to install this?
        Thanks!
        John

no sense in using two hubs but you are going to need a longer pigtail.
only reason to use a transom hub is if your using the triducer kit and the lead isnt long enough.
unless I absolutly have to I wont use the aft mounted hub I will buy the correct length main harness.
typically the pigtails from each device to the hub are less than 2 feet.
I try to mount the hub as close to the guage package as possible.
so one main buss lead engine to hub, from the hub you will need a power lead and pigtail from the hub to each device.
the hub kit should come with one resistor cap that is gray.
the white caps simply cover unused ports.
main buss hub will come it at one end of the hub and the terminating resistor, gray cap, goes at the other.
you can daisy chain the hubs but at the last port must be a gray cap.

Thanks for the help rodbolt...let me make sure that I got this straight...
If I get a correctly sized main harness, I don't need the second hub. Alternatively (although not best practice), I could use the kit as packaged...I'd use the two hubs and (provided) wires as you described in your response...right?

Thanks a ton for the info,
            John

                Tank selection?

I have twin 150's with the round Command Link Speed/Fuel gauge. There are 2 fuel tank inputs but I can't see how you select which tank you are looking at?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have just got 2 square gauges. Tach and fuel. Currently running a tach and trim round gauge. What do I need to set up these square gauges with full command link functions? Appreciate the help.
