VMAX 250 service history info

Hi everyone,

My friend has purchased a 2005 HPDI VMAX 250hp outboard, and was wondering if this year had the updates done to prevent it from failing. He was also wondering if there was a way to check the servicing history by using the engine serial #s, to see if extensive work has been done to this engine.

The records show that the oil pump update has NOT been done, need to take to a Yamaha dealer and get the update done to it.
