8 HP Rectifier 8HPCMHL by memory but just purchesed it long shaft 2 Stroke

Just had some work done on my new replacement motor after my 12 month old motor was stolen,
Susiquently I found the Yamaha Dealer fitted the parts incorrectly when fitting a new remote, how i know is I had fitting issues in Feb 2008 so i have corrected this myself.

This then made me look at the rectifier that was also fitted, after noticing the charge coil wires being streched depending on the throttle position I feel the unit and the wiring loom is not in the correct spot.

Can someone tell me where it should be mounted and where the wires should be loomed to limit fatigue on the moving charge coil wires ?

The service manuals doesn't list the rectifier installation. The parts list show it bolted to starter mount, number 38 in diagram: Yamaha Outboard Parts 2005 F8MLHD OPTIONAL PARTS 1 Diagram

Thank you very much for assisting, not sure myself however whatever i do will be better than what they had tried, i belive it should be mounted on the tiller handle side , as where they had it mounted was on the gear shift side.
